NATURAL INGREDIENTS

Lemon verbena : a plant highly prized for its refreshing lemony fragrance and its many virtues, both in cooking and in phytotherapy.

It is traditionally used for its soothing effects, particularly for managing stress and promoting sleep.

A plant revered since ancient civilizations :

In the pre-Columbian civilizations of South America, it was used by the Incas and other indigenous peoples for its soothing and digestive virtues. It was even thought to have magical and spiritual powers, and was used in ceremonies to attract good luck and prosperity.

A royal name :

The plant's scientific name, Aloysia citrodora, has an interesting origin:  Aloysia comes from the first name of the mother of Queen Marie-Antoinette (wife of Louis XVI): Marie-Aloysia, a noblewoman of Austrian origin. The first botanical descriptions of lemon verbena were made at a time when Marie-Antoinette was very popular in Europe, and the name was given to the plant in her honor.

The plants used are grown in our organic fields, and distilled by Gaël in the heart of the MAS to guarantee high-quality raw materials.
